Charles Dossett announces withdrawal from CD-10 campaign; endorses Bob Elliott for Congress
8 September 2019
Today after much thought, conversations with my family, and prayer, I am announcing my withdrawal as a candidate in the 10th Congressional District. When I entered this race in April, I did not believe the conservative movement had furnished a viable candidate that could win this seat. With Bob Elliot now firmly in this race, I believe a better candidate has stepped forward. Bob has a stellar military background; he is a sitting county supervisor, and in his first quarter, he fund raised more money than all three of his republican opponents combined.
Now, just like everyone else in the 10th district I have a choice of who to vote for. I will be voting for Bob Elliott. I, like Bob, was taught to value Duty, Honor and Country. I know the people of the 10th District can count on Bob to do just that.
I am proud to endorse Bob Elliott because the Central Valley needs his common-sense and conservative leadership.
I have enjoyed talking to voters in the district and my wife and I would like thank our friends and supporters for being a part of this effort.
